      PhD student and associate tutor at the University of Leicester School of management, she has been a translator-interpreter in a UK-based company. Her PhD thesis  critically explores the extent to which changing work and employment institutions in Mauritius have triggered poorly anticipated challenges for workers, companies and education and training institutions. 

      Her research themes relate to workers’ agency and civic competencies as well as their skills development opportunities. 



    • Daria V. Chernyaeva - National Research University - Higher Scholl of Economics, Moscow, Russia

      Associate Professor of Labour and Employment Law,  and director of ‘Center for Comparative Analysis of the Regulation of Labour’ (Center CART) at the National Research University-Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russsia. She is also head of International Cooperation for Higher School Juriprudence(HSJur) of  the university. She has been teaching comparative and International Labour and Employment Law in the same. Her research interest mainly focuses on comparative law issues and regulation of transnational employment relations.



    • Tayo Fashoyin - University of Lagos, Nigeria

      Professor of Labour and Employment Relations at the University of Lagos, and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Comparative International Labor at the ILR School, Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He is the former director of the Industrial and Employment Relations Department of the ILO, and former Secretary General of the International Labour and Employment Relations, ILERA, and Founding Secretary of the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association. His research interest mainly focuses on Industrial relations and labour market governance.



    • Julio Armando Grisolia - Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero, Argentina

      Full Professor at several universities, Associate Professor at the Universidad Argentina John F.Kennedy as well as Adjunct Professor at the National University of Buenos Aires and at the Universidad Católica Argentina. Professor Grisolia teaches Labour Law and Social Security in courses aimed at obtaining the qualification of lawyer or accountant, as well as in degree courses in business administration, human resources, industrial and employment relations. At postgraduate level, he is the Director and Professor of a Masters in Labour Law and International Industrial Relations at the National University of Tres de Febrero.

      He is professor at the Postgraduate School in Labour Law at the University of Buenos Aires and in a postgraduate course for lawyers at the Universidad de Morón. Professor at the Postgraduate School in procedural law at the Universidad del Salvador. Visiting Professor at the Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional, in San José de Costa Rica. Professor at the Judicial Training School of the Association of Judges and Officers of the National Justice since 1990. Editor of the journals Laboral of the Sociedad Argentina de Derecho Laboral (SADL), and Revista de Derecho Laboral y Seguridad Social of Lexis Nexis. Head of the International Association of Industrial Relations of Argentina (ARTRA).



    • Anna C. Hodges - University of Richmond School of law, Usa

      Professor of law, she is the co-author of West’s Principles of Employment Law and West’s Public Sector Employment: Cases and Materials and has written over two dozen articles, and numerous book chapters, on labor and employment related topics. Professor Hodges has served on the editorial board of the Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal since 1996.

      She is a frequent speaker at national symposiums on employment and labor law, and has made numerous presentations to academics, practitioners, nonprofit organizations, health care professionals, and cancer patients and their families. She is co-founder of the Legal Information Network for Cancer (LINC), a nonprofit organization that assists cancer patients and their families with the business side of cancer. Her research interest relates mainly to labour law and  employment relations, feminist legal theory and non-profit organisations.

      Catedrático de Servicio Distinguido Emérito de Economía en la Universidad de Pittsburg y ha sido profesor o investigador visitante en 8 países y conferencista en 39 países. Autor de 82 libros y 275 artículos o capítulos de libros publicados en 7 idiomas en 34 países, la mayoría sobre seguridad y protección social. Ha recibido numerosos premios, entre los cuales el Premio Internacional de la OIT al Trabajo Decente (compartido con Nelson Mandela), y numerosas bolsas de investigación en todo el mundo.

      Daiva Petrylaite - Vilnius University, Lithuania

      She works as associated professor at the Private Law Department of Vilnius University and is the head of the Collective Labour Law and Social Partnership Institute. The scientific research fields of her are: industrial relations, collective labour disputes, right to strike, social partnership.  She is an author of the monograph Collective Labour Disputes, which deals with the theoretical and practical problems of the right to strike and ADR methods in solving industrial conflicts. From June 2013 she takes part in the research project “The Challenges of the Economic Crisis (Recession) on the Rule of Law and Human Rights”.  



    • Michael Quinlan - University of New South Wales, Australia

      Professor of Organization and Management at the University of New South Wales since 1994, an Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydeny (2009-2011) and Adjunct Professor at the Business School, Middlesex University since 2007. His research interest focuses mainly on occupational health and saftey, precarious employment, immigrant/ foreign and vulnerable workers, and Industrial relations/labour history.

Professor Tucker has been involved in law reform initiatives through his participation on the board of Injured Workers' Consultants, a community legal clinic, and as a member of the steering committee of the Bancroft Institute, a grassroots organization that aims to promote research responsive to workers' needs.
